The 91ÇÑ×Ó Hill County Campus Vocational Nursing Program application deadline has been extended until Nov. 20 for the spring 2019 semester, which begins Jan. 14.

The program is a one-year, 47/48 credit hour curriculum leading to a Certificate of Completion. The Vocational Nursing Program is accredited by the Board of Nursing (BON) for the State of Texas and is designed to provide the student with the skill and knowledge required to pass the NCLEX-PN (National Council Licensure Examination - Vocational Nursing).

91ÇÑ×Ó maintains an open admission policy; however, the number of nursing students that can be accepted is limited by the Texas Board of Nursing for the State of Texas and the availability of clinical instruction facilities. 91ÇÑ×Ó will take the top candidates who receive the highest total points. In the event of a tie, the candidate with the highest points in the required areas will be given first priority (Reading and Math scores, Preparation essay and Reference form). 91ÇÑ×Ó reserves the right to refuse admission to the nursing program to any applicant whose application is deemed unsatisfactory.

The 91ÇÑ×Ó Nursing program offers the highest quality health-related education and training to students of our community and surrounding areas.

The program offers students the ability to dedicate themselves to increase their knowledge and developing their talents thus allowing them to become highly skilled nurses able to provide patient-centered care in hospitals or other health care facilities.

At 91ÇÑ×Ó, we strive for excellence to ensure the classroom theory and evidence-based practice in the clinical settings attainable. With the collaboration of 91ÇÑ×Ó and our community hospitals in our service area, it is our privilege to offer this program to our students.
